Justin E. Kuczmarski, MBA, CPA, CVA, CIRA, ABV, CFF

Justin E. Kuczmarski is a senior M&A investment banker and valuation expert at a financial and professional services firm. He is an expert in three separate disciplines: securities valuation/corporate finance, transfer pricing and economic damages.

He is the sole author of The Executive's Guide to Business Valuation: Essentials for Attorneys and Business Owners. The 300-page executive guidebook is currently accredited by IACAM for 12 hours of both CLE and CPE training in over 30 states. 

Mr. Kuczmarski possesses a unique background  of combined senior experience in professional services (valuation consulting) and financial services (M&A investment banking).  He previously worked as an investment banker directing the valuation and fairness opinion practice of a leading middle-market M&A investment bank.

He is a financial and accounting expert, active national speaker, adjunct professor and prolific author who serves clients in financial advisory services such as valuation consulting, litigation support, transfer pricing, and mergers and acquisitions services. A national instructor in various professional organizations, Mr. Kuczmarski is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He also holds both the valuation and forensic accounting credentials of the AICPA: Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).

He has presented at multiple forums and conferences for organizations such as the Corporate Executive Board, Financial Leadership Exchange, Financial Research Associates and the Center for Professional Education. Mr. Kuczmarski also serves as an instructor in business valuation for the National Judicial College (NJC), the official university for training federal and state judges. He speaks to hundreds of executive managers, business owners, CPAs, attorneys and judges/arbitrators in a formalized training environment throughout the year.

He has served as both a testifying expert and consultant and has published articles in leading appraisal publications. Representative clients have spanned the range of privately held companies and public companies across nearly thirty industries. He has completed hundreds of formal or summary engagements across the following types of valuations: transfer pricing, litigation support and economic advisory, M&A investment banking, estate and gift tax appraisals, ESOP transactions and annual ESOP update appraisals, forensic accounting investigations, intangible asset appraisals, buyer due-diligence, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, going-private transactions, post-acquisition purchase price appraisals, preferred stock studies, goodwill impairment testing, dissenting shareholder valuations, and buy-sell agreements.

Mr. Kuczmarski earned a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University and a dual M.B.A. in Finance and Professional Accountancy from Fordham University, where he was awarded academic fellowships in both departments. Mr. Kuczmarski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the Association for Corporate Growth, and the New York State Society of CPAs.
